The 2nd International Symposium on Free/Open Source Software, Technologies and Content (FOSSTEC '06)

The main purpose of FOSSTEC 2006 is to bring together researchers, academics, consultants, professionals, managers, etc. working in areas related to Information and Communication Technologies, in order to present FOSS solutions and IT problems that might be solved, or are being solved, with FOSS products, methodologies and/or services. FOSSTEC 2006 will line up a wide spectrum of researchers and experts who will be able to shed more light into the current state of FOSS, the continuing generation of FOSS products, development methodologies, business models and impacts and Public Policies in the FOSS domain. This event is being organized in the context of the 10th World Multi-Conference on Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics (WMSCI 2006).
