The 2006 Summer ESIP Federation Conference will be July 18-21 at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory in Palisades, NY. The meeting will feature a mix of plenary, technical and science/applications breakout tracks in areas including air quality, coastal management, disaster management, ecological forecasting, public health, and water management. Technical Workshops will be held on July 18 and provide a mixture of presentations, discussions, and hands-on activities relating to areas such as web-services implementations, enabling technologies, and metadata creation and management.
